These Terms of Use govern your use of the DNS Leak Test.
By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.
1. About the service
The DNS Leak Test is a diagnostic tool designed to help users inspect which DNS resolvers are being used by their internet connection.
The service generates temporary randomized DNS hostnames and records which DNS resolvers contact our authoritative DNS server.
The resulting resolver information may be enriched with ISP, organization, autonomous system, country, and approximate location information.
2. Informational purpose
The DNS Leak Test is provided for informational, educational, troubleshooting, and diagnostic purposes.
Test results should not be treated as a complete security audit, guarantee of privacy, guarantee of anonymity, or certification that a VPN or network configuration is secure.
DNS behavior can be affected by operating systems, browsers, VPN software, DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-TLS, network providers, caching, proxies, enterprise networks, and other infrastructure.
3. No security guarantee
A result showing a particular DNS resolver does not by itself prove that your entire internet connection is secure or insecure.
Likewise, failure to detect a resolver does not prove that no DNS leak exists.
You are responsible for interpreting the results in the context of your own VPN, DNS, operating system, browser, and network configuration.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service for legitimate personal, educational, diagnostic, or security-testing purposes.
You must not intentionally:
- Flood, overload, disrupt, or attempt to deny access to the service
- Generate excessive automated test sessions or requests
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse-prevention controls
- Send malformed or abusive network traffic for the purpose of degrading the service
- Attempt to use the DNS infrastructure as a recursive resolver or traffic amplification service
- Attempt unauthorized access to the server, infrastructure, application, or other users' test sessions
- Use the service in violation of applicable law
5. Automated access
Limited automated access may be technically possible, but automated use must not interfere with service availability or consume unreasonable infrastructure resources.
We may rate-limit, temporarily block, or permanently restrict traffic that appears abusive or harmful to the service.
6. Availability
The service is provided on an availability basis and may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Maintenance
- Software updates
- Infrastructure failures
- Network problems
- DNS propagation issues
- Security incidents
- Third-party provider failures
- Abuse-prevention measures
Continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
7. Third-party information
The service may use third-party network information providers to identify ISP, organization, autonomous system, country, and approximate location information associated with DNS resolver IP addresses.
Third-party information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable.
KYHIP does not guarantee the accuracy of information supplied by external data providers.
8. Privacy
Use of the service involves processing limited technical information necessary to perform the DNS leak test and protect the service from abuse.

9. Intellectual property
The name, website content, documentation, design, and original application code may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party software, libraries, services, trademarks, and data remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
No warranty is made that:
- The service will always be available
- The results will always be complete
- Third-party network information will always be accurate
- Every DNS configuration or DNS leak can be detected
- The service is suitable for every security environment
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of the service is not responsible for losses resulting solely from reliance on the DNS leak test results, service interruptions, third-party data inaccuracies, or network configuration changes made based on the results.
Users remain responsible for their own security decisions, system configurations, VPN settings, DNS configuration, and network infrastructure.
12. Security research and responsible disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability affecting this service, please report it responsibly rather than exploiting it or interfering with other users.

13. Suspension or blocking
Access may be restricted when necessary to protect the service, infrastructure, users, or third parties.
This may include traffic that appears to involve:
- Denial-of-service attempts
- Automated abuse
- Rate-limit bypass attempts

- Protocol abuse
- Unauthorized access attempts
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the service, infrastructure, functionality, or legal requirements change.
